BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The Township of Bloomfield is suspending alternate side parking rules through March 31 to accommodate residents working from home or staying home as a result of school closures. Decisions regarding enforcement after March 31 will be made as more information about the Covid-19 Coronavirus becomes available.
“Our administration has made the decision along with the Bloomfield Police Department to suspend alternate side parking rules through at least the end of March,” said Mayor Michael Venezia. “We are aware that many residents have begun working from home and with school being closed for the next two weeks we believe that this was an important step to take. We will continue to communicate the measures that are being taken to ensure that all residents know exactly what is going on.”
