BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Bloomfield First-Ward Councilwoman Jenny Mundell will be hosting a Community meeting on Tuesday, March 3 along with Mayor Michael Venezia at the Bloomfield Public Library beginning at 7pm. These meetings serve as a way to meet with residents in an informal setting, allowing for a strengthened relationship with the community.
“I want to thank Councilwoman Mundell for putting this event together for our first ward residents,” said Mayor Michael Venezia. “These meetings are an outstanding opportunity for more in-depth conversations with the public which are helpful for all of us. I look forward to attending this event and I urge all first ward residents to come out to this meeting to have their voices heard.”
“While we endeavor to be accessible to our residents all the time by email, phone, and social media, and are always willing to meet in person, these community meetings are also an important means of building an even stronger level of communication between residents and the township,” said Councilwoman Jenny Mundell. “I look forward to these more informal meetings because they allow us to speak with and hear from residents more directly as opposed to at the formal council meetings. I hope to see and speak with many first ward residents on Tuesday.”
The mayor and councilwoman will provide a brief update on the township followed by a question and answer session with residents.
