Solid waste receptacles or bulky waste should not be placed on the curb before 6 p.m. on the day preceding the scheduled collection day or later than 5:30 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
Curb is emphasized to ensure that trash is not placed in the streets, as this presents a safety hazard and hindrance to our street sweeping personnel.
Curbside Pick-up Guidelines
Please refer to the following guidelines for garbage pick-up:
- No receptacle shall be permitted to remain at the curb longer than two hours in any commercial or business area after collection.
- No residential receptacle shall be permitted to remain at the curb longer than twenty-four hours after being set out for collection.
A summons will be issued if you don't comply with the above.
