April 4, 2025 - Bloomfield, NJ - The Township of Bloomfield is proud to announce that the Bloomfield Fire Department has been recognized for excellence in policy management and training in 2024 by Lexipol, the leading provider of solutions that empower performance excellence in public safety.
Through the Lexipol Connect program, the department was evaluated across five key metrics that measure success in policy management. With its outstanding performance, the Bloomfield Fire Department earned the coveted Gold Award, the highest level of recognition available. This achievement highlights the department’s consistent and effective dissemination of policies to its personnel, timely updates to ensure compliance with evolving laws, and comprehensive training to keep officers at the top of their game.
