NOTE: If you are interested in obtaining a permit to use one of our parks, you must put the request in writing at least one week prior to the event. The request must have:

  1. Your name, address, email address, and phone numbers
  2. The date you would like
  3. The name of the park
  4. The time you would like to use the park
  5. The reason you want to use it.

Brookside Park

Broad Street and Bay Avenue

Baseball/Softball Diamond, 2 Tot-lots, Picnic Area, Large and small game area and Gazebo

Clark's Pond South

Bottom of Dewey Street off Broughton Ave.

12.34 Acres, 537,530 Sq. Ft.

Lighted Basketball Court, three (3) lighted Tennis Courts, Tot-lot, Softball Diamond, large and small game area. North side consists of passive recreational area, with pond, which is stocked with trout in early spring.

Felton Field

Floyd Avenue between LaFrance Avenue and Watsessing Avenue

3.71 Acres, 161,608 Sq. Ft.

Tot-Lot, Field House, 2 Little League Diamond, Challenger Field, and Game Area.

Memorial Park

John F. Kennedy Drive - between Belleville Avenue and Spring St.

12.50 Acres, 544,500 Sq. Ft.

Three Tennis Courts, 2 Baseball Diamonds, and Football Field, Joseph F. Tiseo Ramp Park, Tot-lot, Field House, Parking Lot for 84 cars, Recreation Maintenance Garage. In addition, this facility is used by the Board of Education for Senior High School inter-scholastic athletics.

Milbank Playground

17th Street off Bloomfield Avenue

Passive mini-green with Tot-lot.

Pulaski Park

Located on Bernon Terrace, between Chapel and Howard Street

6.50 Acres, 283,140 Sq. Ft.

Lighted Softball Diamond (Hank Barlow Field), Parking Lot, One Full Basketball Court, One Half Court Basketball Court, Four (4) Lighted Tennis Courts, sledding, Tot-lot, large and small game areas, Hand Ball Courts, Field House, Also this facility is used by the High School and Bloomfield College for Softball games and practices.

Vassar Field

One Full Basketball Court, Softball Diamond, Little League Diamond, 2 Tee-Ball Diamonds, Field House, Tot-lot, large and small game area.

Wright's Field

Located at bottom of Baldwin Place

Lighted Softball/Baseball/Football/ Soccer/Little League Fields, Tee-Ball Field, Field House, Tot-lot, large and small game area. Parking Lot.  Bloomfield College uses Big Wrights for practices and games.                                

Civic Center

The building houses the Recreation Department Offices, Senior Citizens Organizations, Channel 35, and The Art and Musical Cultural Organization, as well as meeting rooms for numerous Civic Organizations.
