The Bloomfield Police Department is committed to providing a safe community for the citizens of Bloomfield.  Through dedicated and professional service, the men and women of the Bloomfield Police Department have improved the quality of life for our citizens.   Since January of 2005, the Department has increased it’s manpower to 135 members, thus providing better service to emergency needs of the Township Citizens.  The Bloomfield Police Department responds to approximately 15,000 emergency calls, and over 30,000 service calls a year.  Our Community Policing Unit is always available to address any concerns for organizations and neighborhood groups.  The Bloomfield Police Department is always available to the citizens of Bloomfield.
