Central Communications functions as the heart beat of the Township’s
emergency services.  We are staffed by both police and civilian personnel certified to receive and relay emergency and non-emergency calls for the Police Department, Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services.  Thousands of calls each year are received by the Communications Center including all other Township departments that need to be dispatched such as the Department of Public Works, Health Department, Engineering and Animal Control Services.

The Communications Division is currently in the process of upgrading our emergency telephone system.  In the near future we will have the latest in E-911 technology in place to better serve the township.
