Mission Statement

    The Bloomfield Recreation Department is to provide its community with diverse, year round youth, adult, senior and family orientated programs utilizing their extraordinary parks and recreation facilities.  These affordable activities are to be  well-supervised, age appropriate and conducted at convenient times and locations all while enhancing physical, social and cultural growth of all residents.

    If there is no message in this location all Bloomfield Recreation Programs an Bloomfield Recreation Fields will be on as scheduled and playable.  If there is a message please verify the date and look for your specific program or field.  If the Bloomfield Recreation Department deems a field to be unplayable, NO GAME OR PRACTICES should be held on that field.  In case of inclement weather after this message has been created please wait for instructions from your coach, safety officer, league president or the decision will be made by the umpire at the field.

2015 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
 
** Please note that PRE-REGISTRATION will take place for all families who had children participate in camp in the summer of 2014.  Pre-registration will start on Wednesday, April 8th through Wednesday, May 13th at the Civic Center, 84 Broad Street.
 
Traditional registration will take place starting on Saturday, May 16th at 8:00AM. 
 
Please note the required documents and payments and bring with you at the time of registration.
 
Monday - Friday - 8:30AM - 4:30PM and Wednesday Nights 6:00PM - 8:30PM
 
Limited spaces are available.  First come, first served!
