Mission Statement

    The Bloomfield Recreation Department is to provide its community with diverse, year round youth, adult, senior and family orientated programs utilizing their extraordinary parks and recreation facilities.  These affordable activities are to be  well-supervised, age appropriate and conducted at convenient times and locations all while enhancing physical, social and cultural growth of all residents.

Please be advised that the morning sports clinics will be on as scheduled.
 
Please be sure to bring a water bottle with cold water with your name on it.
 
The afternoon Speed and Agility Clinic will be moved from Foley Field into Bloomfield High School
 
On BOTH Thursday, July 20th and Friday, July 21st.
 
 
 
 

 

 If there is no message in this location all Bloomfield Recreation Programs an Bloomfield Recreation Fields will be on as scheduled and playable.  If there is a message please verify the date and look for your specific program or field.  If the Bloomfield Recreation Department deems a field to be unplayable, NO GAME OR PRACTICES should be held on that field.  In case of inclement weather after this message has been created please wait for instructions from your coach, safety officer, league president or the decision will be made by the umpire at the field.

Art in the Garden
Give a garden a second life — on canvas! Novices and experienced painters welcome to snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and an artist-guided acrylic paint on canvas session with artist, Lovlee Tang in the Bloomfield’s Pulaski Park Community Garden! Canvas, art supplies and refreshments are included in fee!

Location: Pulaski Park Community Garden (24 Mt. Vernon Ave.)

Fee: $35/person ; groups of 2 or more pay only $30 each!
