The Code of the Township of Bloomfield

This is a copy of the official Code, obtained from the company that maintains it for the Township and provided by Mayor John A. Bukowski.

With the publication of the Code on the Bloomfield, New Jersey Home Page, Bloomfield becomes one of the very first municipalities in the United States to provide its citizens with a complete, accurate, and easily searchable copy of its Code.

Because of its large size, it has been divided into four sections, each with a hyperlink below.

The Code is now in HTML format. The sentences now "wrap" on a Web Browser. This makes it much easier to read directly on the Web.

This is an accurate copy of the Code. You can copy and paste sections to an editing or Word Processing program. You can even copy the whole Code this way, if you wish to have your own copy.

Perhaps most useful is the Search function on your browser - "Find", "Find Again." Using it, you can locate all references to a subject you are interested in.

For example, to find all sections of the code dealing with "fences", you would search for fence with the Search function of your browser. (It might be best to begin and end with a blank space, as otherwise you will also find the letter sequence "fence" when it occurs in the middle of a word, like "defence" [British spelling: this is meant just as an example]).

The Code

Part 2: Section 123.10 to Section 230.27

Part 3: Section 230.28 to Section 254.57

Part 4: Section 254.57 to Section 361.38 (end)
