BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Township of Bloomfield is holding a solemn vigil this Thursday evening at the Bloomfield Library to honor the memory of the victims of the recent shooting that took place at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
“Horrific tragedies such as this have an impact far beyond just where they occur,” said Mayor Michael Venezia of yesterday's events. “Folks across the country are scared, confused, outraged, and grieving, as they struggle to make sense of yesterday's events. If you and your family are willing and able, we invite you to join us tomorrow night at the Bloomfield Library to mourn together and provide comfort to one another as a community.”
To all those who would like to attend, the vigil will be held tomorrow night (Thursday, May 26th) at 7:00 PM at the Bloomfield Public Library Courtyard, 90 Broad Street.
