BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The Bloomfield Parks Recreation & Cultural Affairs Department is excited to release their 2019 Summer of Fun Event Listing! Their department has a wide variety of fun-filled family events throughout the summer months that everyone will enjoy.
The Bloomfield Civic Band will perform July 1st - July 22 on Monday Nights in July on the Historic Town Green. The Traditional Summer Concert Series will take place on Tuesday nights from July 9th to July 30th at Brookside Park and will feature great live acts that will perform country hits, the music of the Grateful Dead, Big Band Music as well as a professional laser light show choreographed to the music of Led Zeppelin. The series will culminate with a partnership with the Bloomfield Police Department and Township Officials when they celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday August 6th at Foley Field where Alotta Collada will play your favorite summer party hits.
In addition to music concerts they will also offer Movies in the Park, a golf outing that supports their special needs programming as well as Classic Car Shows and Cruise Nights held in Universal Technical Institutes Parking lot every Wednesday Night in August.

"With the support of the Mayor and Council, the Recreation Commission, various township departments and our sponsors its a total team effort.
In addition to all of these great events the Township of Bloomfield's Annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4th at Foley Field. Gates open at 5:30PM and there will be amusements, face-painting, games of chance, awards, music and a wide variety of food vendors. Of course there will be a fantastic fireworks display that you won't want to miss!
