The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) is closing the Montgomery Street bridge for repairs beginning in Janyary 2019 and continuing until November 2019, as part of its extensive repair work around the Garden State Parkway between mileposts 144 to 152.
The NJTA has set up a 24/7 hotline for residents to call with questions: 800-374-5137. Additionally, residents can receive weekly text or email updates regarding the project every Friday. Questions can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
During construction, detour signs will be posted throughout the area, with maps available online at www.gspexit145.com. All repairs are being paid for by the NJTA, which will give a presentation at an upcoming Bloomfield Council meeting. Please feel free to visit the project website for more information and to sign-up for weekly email and/or text message updates.
