Community Health Assessment

The 2017 Community Health Assessment is a comprehensive data-driven report on the behaviors, needs and concerns of the township’s 48,000 residents. It is a follow-up to similar research conducted in 2013. More than 400 residents completed the survey (offered online and on paper; in both Spanish and English), which included questions ranging from housing and transportation to eating habits and physical activity. Four focus groups and 16 key informant interviews were also conducted to further help us identify the pressing health issues, establish priorities and goals, develop interventions and commit resources to improve the health of the community.
